Brief Introduction
On 3rd of December 2020, the Emergency Medical Services noticed an exponential increase of the reported COVID-19 cases. This is officially considered as a second outbreak of the Coronavirus. The San Andreas Fire & Medical Department declared ALERT STATUS, meaning that all citizens of San Andreas are recommended to:
- Clean their hands often, using soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand rub.
- Maintain a safe distance from anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
- Wear a mask to minimize the virus' airborne transmission.
- Isolate at home if possible.
- Cover the nose and mouth with the bent elbow or a tissue when coughing or sneezing.
In order to minimize the virus spreading, the San Andreas Fire & Medical Department is organizing an event that promotes preventing measures... specifically, the isolation at home. The event aims to reach community engagement, state-level coordination, infection prevention and control.
How to participate
In order to take part in this event, you must take some screenshots or a video of you hanging out with your family at home while doing some in-door activities. I will give a list of examples, but you don't have to necessarily follow them, the limit is your imagination.
- Cooking and eating dinner with your family.
- Playing board games
- Writing a book
- Painting
- Doing house chores
- Working from home (Example: software developer)
- Watching netflix
- Recording a song (@Ahmed Jimli)
Rules of participation
- The screenshots or video must be taken inside a house.
- Everyone present in the RP scene must be unmasked (Using a /mask is not allowed but /clothing masks are allowed).
- There is a limit of 10 screenshots and 1 video of maximum 10 minutes.
- A player may only be present in 1 forum post. If someone appears in two posts, both players or groups of players will be disqualified.
- Unsuitable photos or videos will be disqualified.
- Awards will only be given to players who posted the screenshots or video. It's up to them how they share the prize with their family.
- The photos and videos must follow the server and community rules.
Deadline for joining the event: 13/12/2020 - 12:00AM CET
Prizes
- The winner of the even will be given 500,000 US Dollars.
- Second place will be rewarded with 300,000 US Dollars.
- Third place will receive 200,000 US Dollars.
